Philadelphia stockbroker pleads guilty of fraud

A report from The Philadelphia Inquirer reported last week that a stockbroker in suburban Philadelphia pleaded guilty in court to securities fraud.

Robert M. Montani, a compliance officer at Bryn Mawr Investment Group/Valley Forge Securities, admitted hiding money from the IRS, manipulating stock prices and skimming commissions. Montani may face 33 to 41 months in prison.
