Bob Carroll at Tampa Bay Personal Injury Lawyer points out a CNN report that a recent test of seat and head restraints in SUVs revealed only six of 44 vehicles got a good rating for whiplash protection. The test, conducted by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety

points out that:

Seats and head restraints in big SUV sellers like the Ford Explorer, Toyota 4Runner and Chevrolet TrailBlazer rated poor, as did the Chevy Silverado pickup and some seats in the Ford F-150 and Dodge Dakota pickups.
